Livingstonia Beekeepers Enterprises, in cooperation with Mtende Foundation, provides local farmers, especially women with fruit tree nurseries and beehives, to facilitate the production of honey and other bee related products and create local economic empowerment. By creating ecosystem services in the upland area of Livingstonia, this enterprise not only provides services for better rural livelihoods, but also supports the conservation of natural resources for the restoration of biodiversity.
